Document Exchange Network was founded by Walter Trezek, an internationally recognised expert at the cutting edge of postal technologies, active in formulating European and global electronic postal standards at CEN and the UPU, and with more than a decade’s strategic leadership and consulting experience in national and private postal organisations.

For Walter, it was clear that the worlds of electronic and physical communication are complementary and increasingly interdependent. However, enabling organisations with large mail volumes to integrate both physical and electronic communication to create flexible networks is a role which traditional postal providers have only recently started to address.

Document Exchange Network works with specialists with backgrounds in information technology, e-business and e-government, address database management, distribution technologies and digital tracing technologies, in order to help clients innovate, build value and meet their customers' increasing demands for modern methods of communication.
